Know Your Literary Cats

I give you Simpkin of The Tailor of Gloucester by Beatrix Potter

What a fine friend I've made of dear Simpkin. If I liked real cats, or rather, if real cats liked me, I would get one and name it Simpkin. He was my absolute favorite cat out of Beatrix Potter's children's books. Some of which I still keep at bedside. Looking at the original paintings still gives my throat that soft glow dust feeling.
