Anastasia's Lash Genius Product Review

These are some photos I took of a brand new product (not yet in stores) that Anastasia and co. sent over.
I was lucky enough to try it out. It is a very unique product and one of a kind in my makeup bag.
Lash Genius goes over your mascara as a top coat if you will. It's one of those brilliant things you never knew you needed. For one, waterproof mascara is usually very clumpy and hard to wipe off. The option of having the waterproof top coat with Lash Genius is great for deciding when you actually need waterproof. If you are partying late into the night you definitely need the topcoat. If you are wearing it am to pm you need waterproof.
Sometimes I just swipe on mascara for a quick shopping trip or to eat out with a friend. You might not need it to be waterproof. Either way it's better to have options.

I wore it all day and there was no smudging, usually I don't wear mascara even the so called waterproof ones if I know I'll be out all day because it starts coming down and I get raccoon eyes! It definitely stayed the same as when I put it on in the morning. No smudging!
Here are some cute images for the Lash Genius which will be available in Sephora stores this May.

Sretsis AW 2012

I'm continuing to share the collections I love the most from D&A tradeshow.

Sretsis (sisters spelled backward) drew my attention right away with its feminine, with a touch of whimsy, aesthetic. Here are some favorites (via Wikifashion).

Charlotte Taylor A W 2012/2013

Another favorite for this winter ! The styling and print mixing ideas could inspire spring outfits as well. I was lucky enough to view the collection in person, (shake its hand, share a glass of pinot), at the D&A tradeshow. Just the perks of my new internship!

Charlotte Taylor

These photos kind of remind me of the film The Strange Case of Angelica. Anyone familiar?
It's about a photographer hired to take pictures of a young wealthy bride who died unexpectedly of unknown causes.
When he photographs her she comes to life when he sees her thru his lens.

It's on instant watch (netflix) if you're interested.
