I've been more focused on trying not to have bad days than anything else this month. I'm having two weeks of break so i'm looking forward to doing some online shopping.
Can anyone help me find some good etsy shops ?
I've never bought anything on etsy but i really want to try it, i'm not looking for anything in particular so if you can recommend your favorites i would be very happy.
One thing going through my head this week is the word "quotidian", it's been stalking me everywhere in books and magazines and online articles .
So far i've seen it 7 times this week.
It's become a favorite word of mine, to be listed among long time favorites like "wainscot" and "brandishing".
I hung out with my sister the other day (i don't see her sometimes for months at a time since she moved out) and it was a pretty good day, meeting up in some random part of brooklyn for volunteer work .
It's tough to grow older and see that your once easy relationships/friendships that took place in high school or in your home are becoming harder to keep up with .
You really have to try sometimes but of course it's worth it.
Luckily we live in NYC and finding interesting things to do is no problem it's all a matter of timing.
I really want to go see the Mark Morris Dance Group at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on the 23rd.
she wants to try and see Fuerza Bruta but i figure that's along the same line.
My job this week is to make sure my bf finds the right sort of new apartment, fingers crossed he lets me decorate it !
