wearing thrifted sweater, MNG trench coat and clown pin.

Many people mentioned previously that my clown pin was scary. I agree, they totally are. This one is even more creepy than the last. My sister hates looking at the pins.
This look was completely haphazardly thrown together but i'd like to think that it exemplifies my "brand of fashion".
Unusual combinations and plenty of color.
I'm finally enjoying a day to myself. So i'm going to check out everyone's blogs, plan my hectic school/work schedule for next week, nurse a broken heart and shop online!

fyi: in case anyone was wondering how i will nurse said pulmonary muscle, i watch and rewatch Closer and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Can never make up my mind about which i prefer as "best film about modern love" .

Most favoritest song this week:
Warpaint- undertow

Oct 20: Picture + Music

Vena Cava Fall 2010 RTW via style.com

Need to find myself a plain black turtleneck to wear under dresses and the like. I'd decided long ago that turtle necks aren't for me because i think my head is unusually large, but it's funny what fashion trends can convince you to do.

Shouldn't be too hard locating one in a thrift store.

What should i be for Halloween?

song playing right now:
Love Fade- Tamaryn

Here's something random: i've been frequenting this venue called Shea Stadium with a date who has issues with me dancing with someone else. Dancing with strangers is one of my only indulgences.
Why kill it for me ?

Also, I have been sick for almost a month. I found out that people only give you leniency the first week of your illness. After that, you are expected to act normally when you can't even breathe and feel like fainting every so often.

SawThe Social Network. it was extremely entertaining.

I discovered i couldn't go to most of the CMJ shows due to my age. Ugh, only a couple of more months until i can walk into anyplace. But i will most likely still stay home most nights.

Aiming for the Ground

wearing thrifted trench , thrifted attache and AA suede brogues and high waisted pleated pants.

Two very similar poses at two different times of the same day. One photo taken in Brooklyn and one in Queens.
I thought i looked 70's, maybe it was the pants. Having been born in the 90s, anything i dont recognize as 80s could be described as 70s for all i know. Excuse my ignorance of such things, as a budding, ahem, style enthusiast i should know these things.

I have been very sick all week. enjoy the song:
