I promised I'd show my nails with that glitter polish i posted earlier. I do a glitter french manicure. If you want my technique it's pretty easy. All you need is patience.
1. wipe off the excess glitter on the brush on the sides of the bottle.
2. When there's only a bit of glitter on the brush go over the entire nail. That's how you get a small amount of glitter at the bottom of the nail for the fading effect.
3. Then dip the brush back into the bottle and try to get as much glitter as possible.
4. When the brush is thick with glitter dab the end of the nail. That's how you get a lot of glitter at the end for the french manicure look.
5. After the glitter dries go over the nail with a top coat to make the glitter sparkle even more.
It can be hard to get it right but if you put too much glitter at the bottom or at the top it's easy to wipe it off and start over. Much easier than with regular nail polish.
Whenever I do this to my nails I get super happy just looking at them. It's quick pick me up on a bad day. I always have bad days .
I also did it on my toes, although it's a bit harder to do.
Oh and i couldn't resist showing off my new leather gloves with the index and thumb flaps pulled back for touch screen use. The only annoying thing is that everyone stares at my hands when it's freezing and I'm using my phone with my thumb out.

And the gloves look really cool. I need a pair where I can use my index and thumb on my phone.
